I am not saying you are wrong, but first off – you seem to make some very broad statements about “Christianities” and I am NEVER a fan of things like that…
You defined people’s approach to their religion as a sort of geographical mind set? OK – but that seems to me that you are stating the obvious – at least it seems obvious to me, I mean I wouldn’t expect someone in the middle of the USA to have a Mexican Jesus statue, but hey, you never know… People approach their religion from what they know and what they experience around them, I would think… is that wrong of them?
And as far as adapting religion… adapt how, exactly? I keep think of the Hassidic I would see in Brooklyn… how are they adapting their religion?
Lastly… and excuse me, for I am not a very smart person… but I missed your definition of “religion”
